Wisconsin Candidate for Governor Scott Walker on Stimulating Wisconsin's Economy
In an interview with The Eau Claire Journal Scott Walker, Republican candidate for governor of Wisconsin, readily admitted that Wisconsin state government is far too intrusive into our lives and businesses. Scott said he has faith in the people and the employers of Wisconsin to bring us out of our state's economic crisis. That by lowering taxes, and limiting the size, spending, and excessive regulation of government, and by limiting litigation through tort reform, Wisconsin can create an environment that will attract and keep businesses in our state. The state must take bold and aggressive action to lower the cost of doing business here if we hope to retain good employers and create jobs. He said Wisconsin can with the right policies compete in the global economy. "With our strong workforce and rich natural resources we can attract and keep jobs in Wisconsin, if government gets out of the way."
