The Importance of Physical Therapy

            For most, the thought of needing a physical therapist never occurs until it's too late.  Perhaps an accident, a back injury, or problems with old age has resulted in immobility or constant pain.  Pain medication can only last so long and one can't stay in a chair for the rest of his earthly life.  It's then that perhaps yourself or your doctor recommends some form of physical therapy.

            While we can't prevent accidents, could it be that some of the physical problems associated with getting older could be prevented?  Or, could it be that while we can't fight death, we can make the rest of our life more comfortable with some basic physical habits and exercises?
