Candidates Line Up for 91st Assembly

                 One of the major redistricting changes in Western Wisconsin is the moving of the 91st Assembly district from the Pepin, Pierce, Trempeauleau, and Buffalo County area to a smaller district entirely inside the city limits of Eau Claire. Since current Representative Chris Danou (D-Trempeauleau) no longer lives in the district, the race is open for new candidates.

                Brandon Buchanan, former Eau Claire City Councilman, and Dana Wachs, current city Councilman, have announced their intentions to fill the open seat a year from January. Buchanan formed an exploratory committee last October and Wachs formally announced his candidacy in November.
