Mandatory Union Dues Undermines Property Rights

Misunderstandings about our Federal and State Constitutions and Governor Walker's Budget Repair Bill must be addressed.
Constituents have stated that it is "unfair that some people are required to pay union dues and have no say in how that money was spent." This concern has been expressed by millions of union members who believe that their constitutional right to property has been undermined. When people are forced to pay for something that they do not want and when those monies are used in an objectionable manner, the income earner has lost property rights. This is a serious constitutional question that Governor Walker's Budget Repair Bill is addressing while some legislators have dismissed or ignored it.
