Another Concert Season Ends

On Thursday August 4th, the last concert by the Eau Claire Municipal Band was performed in the band shell at Owen Park. As in all the concerts, the band impressed the large audience with a wide variety of music from various cultures and suiting various interests, beginning with the "Star Spangled Banner" and ending with "America the Beautiful."
The band has been playing for over a century, and the acoustically well-designed band shell and lighting add to the delight of the evening. A few Thursdays this summer due to rain, the concert was held at the Masonic Lodge.
