What Role Should Religion Have in Politics?

              The 2012 presidential campaigns are in high gear and several times the issue of religion has risen to the surface, only to be drug back down into the depths of 'it shouldn't matter.'

            But how important is religion to politics and the office of the president and should it really be an issue or held as something personal and private?
