Financial Commercials on Television

My favorite now is the planner who is on his yacht or at the racket ball court or sitting in his plush office when he gets the phone call from the office secretary informing him that he just lost another account to a "do-it-yourselfer". Another person has just figured out that they can lose money in the market at a slower rate if the fee for losing money is reduced and by implication reduced a lot.

So the message is simple "get rid of the high-priced middleman" and you will do a lot better. The simple fact is that the commercial does not say you will do better or worse with your money by dumping the guy who has been making huge amounts of money
