How To Stimulate Eau Claire's Economy

            My mind goes to a recent article by the well-known John Stossel.  It is entitled Government Creates Poverty (you can find this article on page B12 of this issue). Read it as he shows the failure of the government to stimulate the economy among the Native Americans in our country.  As it goes nationally, so it goes locally.  We have several organizations in our own city and county that have, in part or whole, the goal of creating or assisting our city and county economically.

            Some of them are the Chippewa Valley Inter-networking Consortium, the Eau Claire County Industrial Development Agency and the City of Eau Claire Department of Community Development.
