Deb VanWyke: Granddaughter of a Master Painter

In a world where heritage and history are being forgotten, Deb VanWyke stands proud of her history and proud of her heritage. But what could be so special about her heritage that she treasures it so much?

"My family is from Holland and my great grandfather was a Master Painter and his son, my grandfather, was a Master Painter and a restoration contractor. So my love for paint and design came through tradition, " Deb VanWyke informed. "My great grandfather and his wife came over from the Netherlands and went through Ellis Island. He was a Master Painter, and back in those days, it was very traditional for the son to follow in the father's footsteps, and so therefore, my grandfather became a Master Painter also."
