Our Own Farm- an Answer to Prayer

                April is a special time of year for us on our farm.  We bought this farm in March, and moved on to it in April of 1991. It was a huge step of faith and a brand new beginning for us.

                After our daughter, Catherine was born; it became very obvious that there was not a future for us on my parents' dairy farm.  Joanne would pray daily as she went about her house work and taking care of our new young baby.  I would pray while I worked on the farm, and after the evening chores were all done, I would walk out into the fields praying to the Lord.  And then together, we would earnestly seek the Lord as to what He had for us.  Over time, He spoke to both of us individually, that He had a farm for us.
