" This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." (1 Timothy 1:15)
It is universally agreed among men of understanding that Jesus Christ is the most outstanding figure of human history. Those who discount His deity and ignore His precepts readily assent to the fact that His life made the greatest impression for good upon world society of any life ever lived. The haughty and the humble, the rich and the ragged, the favored and the forgotten mingle their varied voices in acclaim as they give to this humble Galilean first place in the scale of human achievement. Yet few are those who have bowed at the shrine of thruth to discover the real purpose for which He came. Paul, first-century scholar and missionary-evangel, tarried there, and emerged from a rendezvous with Revelation to publish the most wonderful tidings of time or eterrnity, "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners."
