My College Experience

                In May 2009; I was laid off from the machine shop. In January of 2010, I received a phone call from an ITT-Tech recruiter. I thought, "I'm 45 years old, 28 years of hard labor is enough, I would like to work in an office from now on." So I went down, and enrolled at ITT, and was in their Computer Drafting and Design Program.

            I had my conceptions of what I thought college would be, like students who were there to learn, and improve their lives; and then there was the reality. The reality was a systemic failure, in many ways forced upon the college administration by our federal government. Most of the Staff at ITT-Tech care about what they are teaching. However, there were several things grossly wrong.
