Tough Questions Pay Off

This is the first article of what may be several on the topic of investing. I humbly look forward to providing the reader of this excellent paper with some useful tools that may help him financially. Investing in tough markets can be a hit-and-run battle for survival against the sharpest minds on Wall Street. I have 20 plus years behind me in accounting & financial management roles, so for me, asking tough questions are a basic job requirement.
Some topics I plan to cover in the future are: bear market and sideways market investing, hedging against losses, stock selection, helpful technical indicators, when to buy or sell, precious metals, other commodities, Wall Street myths, stock options, portfolio diversification and rebalancing, market psychology, bond investing, Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's), inflation/deflation and perhaps more.
