Controversy still exists over law and its effects
Wisconsin residents will soon me able to get permission to conceal-carry handguns. The Department is anticipating a lot of work in order to respond to the projected tens of thousands of applicants they are likely to receive come November 1st. Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said, "I am proud of the tireless work being done by people at the DOJ and look forward to issuing permits to qualified applicants as soon as possible."
