Accomplishments of the Eau Claire City-County Health Department

Written By: The ECJ Staff  |  Posted: Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011

In June, Eau Claire County gave their $86,825 monthly payment to the Eau Claire City-County Health Department.  Eau Claire County Supervisor John Prince gave the County Board of Supervisors the six-month liaison report for the activities of the Department for 2011.

Over half of their accomplishments (7 out of 13) had to do with in-house activities.  They addressed space issues, they made efforts to strategically plan for loss of space due to the new courthouse addition, they entered into an agreement with an architectural studio to write out a report on long term spacing needs, they figured out how the loss of state funding would affect their department, they hired a service to complete a study concerning compensation packages for the department, they made changes to the personal policies of its employees, and they made monthly fiscal reports and maintained the department's fund balance.
