U.S.-Mexico Border Bloodshed Escalates

The U.S.-Mexico border has become a "battlefield" in the war between rival Mexican drug cartels and a beleaguered Mexican government, according to one Texas law enforcement official. And the state's governor, Rick Perry, says the U.S. government must do more quickly to "stabilize" the border before even more of Mexico's spreading bloodshed spills north. Texas shares a 1, 254-mile border with Mexico.
