Did God Bless America?

From our founding we seem to have been blessed from a higher power. We were able to defeat the British who were the most powerful military force on the face of the Earth when no one else could to win ourselves the most successful revolution for independence Earth had ever seen. Our leader George Washington could have been killed many times but left battles multiple times with only bullet holes in his cloths but not in him even while riding horse between the two opposing armies. We won both World Wars for this planet. America it seems has been blessed with unlimited power and influence in the world for a long time and most great inventions came from here as well and why is that? Could it be that because our Founding Fathers based the founding of this country on the Christian God and freedom and not false gods or some human king that God has blessed America with power and freedom.

Our Founding Fathers prayed before meetings and look what was accomplished. Congress prays before sessions and we have "in God we trust" on our money and our dollar is the most powerful currency in the world. In recent years there has been a push to remove God from everything from our schools, government and our money. Some people actually hate the words Christmas or Easter and will not let schools or even shopping centers say these words. As some Americans push for the removal of God from every aspect of life could this be why America is facing a devaluing dollar, an economic mess and the most corrupt political atmosphere we have ever seen? Could we be pushing God out of America? Have we gotten so big and powerful that some Americans have gotten arrogant and thought no one is above them? Could God be giving up on us because we are giving up on God?
