Though there is over a year to go until election day, the race to replace Senator Herb Kohl's seat is already underway. After former senator Russ Feingold announced that he will not run for office in 2012, Dane County's openly immoral and liberal Representative, Tammy Baldwin, announced her candidacy. Said Baldwin, "I've always been honest about who I am and what I stand for. This election isn't about me, it's about the middle class Wisconsin families I'm fighting for, plain and simple."
Shortly after this, Ron Kind sent a statement announcing his decision not to run stating, "I remain unwavering in my focus on growing the economy with good paying jobs while developing a long-term plan to get our fiscal house in order without jeopardizing the future of our children. The issues are just too pressing right now." This will prevent "a divisive primary contest will not serve the interests of the state or the real needs of families."
