Citizens of Manchester Township Overwhelmingly Repudiate Comprehensive Plan

On Monday, July 19th the Planning Committee for Manchester Township, near Black River Falls, overwhelmed with the peoples' strong opposition to its proposed Comprehensive Plan, voted their own plan down. Several of the committee members resigned (or threatened to resign) on the spot, and a new committee is being formed.

Over 200 people showed up to protest the implementation of the "Smart Growth" European style comprehensive plan that the planning committee was about to pass onto the Town Board for its approval. The people believe the non-governmental American Planning Association (a United Nations approved organization to implement "Smart Growth" in America) is responsible for manipulating the township planning committee to develop what many believe is an unconstitutional plan. They allege that the template has been set by these and other elitists, and that the planning committee is told to simply plug in the data applicable to its township.
