Letter to the Editor - Good Bricks Don't Make Good Schools

            Eau Claire recently approved a $51 million-dollar school referendum for some building improvements. Certain deficiencies in this system will have to be rectified before I will vote yes for any such referendum.

            I attended school board meetings from 1986-1994.  Never was there more than one person on the board who represented the taxpayers.  The administration, union bosses and school board were synonymous terms.  The situation is far worse now.
