Wisconsin Legislature Likely to Settle for Concealed Carry Permits

Written By: ECJ Staff  |  Posted: Monday, June 13th, 2011

The passage of a constitutional carry bill is not likely after negative statements from Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald and Governor Scott Walker. Fitzgerald told UpFront with Mike Gousha that he would support such a bill but his caucus would not.             Meanwhile, Governor Walker made an official statement saying that he would only support a limited conceal carry bill. "If a concealed carry bill reaches my desk, it should include a permit and training provisions."
