More Representation - Not Less

The Push to Reduce the Number of County Board Members is Contrary to a Representative Republic

It Is my understanding that in Chippewa County a referendum is on the ballot asking the citizens if they support reducing the number of County Board Supervisors. This has also been discussed in Eau Claire County and several nearby counties have already reduced the number of County Board Supervisors. Is this a step in the right direction? No doubt the impetus behind such a proposal is the desire to save money. With all the waste of money that occurs in government, it would seem that this would be the least likely area the citizens would want cut. allow me to encourage all citizens of Chippewa and Eau Claire County to seriously reconsider this reduction in representation.
