Jay Olson, candidate for Barron County Sheriff, will bring creative techniques to the office. As a police officer for eight years and a life long resident of the area, Jay knows the needs of this community. A forward thinking man who respects the talents of all people and works well with youth, Jay has a history of success in handling critical incidents.

When elected, Jay hopes to implement many innovative programs which will focus on lowering the re-offender rate in the jail system and creating an emergency-preparedness- response plan which will save lives from violence threatening the community. In addition to developing a variety of resourceful solutions for local problems, Jay has removed thousands of dollars of drugs, drug money, and illegal guns off the streets of Barron County.
