Eau Claire Tax Day Tea Party Rally

On Saturday April tenth, the second annual Tax Day Tea Party hosted by the Eau Claire Tea Party fired up the crowd that gathered at Phoenix Park with patriotic songs and a variety of speakers. Most of the speakers were local men and women that are fed-up and angry with the irresponsible, and arrogant politics at both the state and federal levels.

The Tea Party movement is composed of a true cross section of American citizens. There is no membership list, no dues, no organizational hierarchy, no national leader, no political party affiliation, just ordinary and extra-ordinary American citizens. It is made up of men and women of all ages, all races, all walks of life, all occupations, all social classes, all educational levels. Everything from doctors and engineers to farmers and factory workers, from college students to retired senior citizens, from business owners to the unemployed.
