Yankee Jack's Pub and Grille Helps Build a Community

Located in the center of the Princeton Valley neighborhood in north Eau Claire, Yankee Jack's Pub and Grille, owned by Jack and Shelley Schulte, strives to be a place where neighbors can gather for a sense of community.
"We recognized there is a need especially in this valley for a place where the neighbors can come and hang out, " says Jack.
Jack and Shelley started Yankee Jack's in April of 2009. Prior to this the place was primarily a golfer's bar, since it is in the same building as the Princeton Valley Golf Club clubhouse. But the owners of the golf course wanted the place to be more like a local restaurant. Jack, who had 30 years of restaurant experience, including 19 years managing Sweetwaters in Eau Claire, took the opportunity to transform the place into what is now a year-round place to find "great burgers, salads, sandwiches, homemade pizzas, and an excellent Friday night fish-fry." They also serve steak on Saturdays.
