Life on the Family Farm - The Big Furry Surprise

               In life we all get some unexpected surprises, sometimes good and sometimes not so good.  Sometimes, when they're totally unexpected, they're enough to scare us half out of our own hides!  I'm sure some of you readers out there can relate to this.  This is what happened to me here a while back.

                In the spring of the year, the daylight starts to get a lot longer and the days start to get warmer.  I always look forward to this time of year after a cold, snowy winter.  So do others, especially the raccoons and bears that have been hibernating all winter.  Spring brings renewed life, new energy, and new surprises.  It gets a person's blood really flowing again.
